CHRISTOPHER CHAPLIN（克里斯托弗·卓别林）制作了独特的而且高度细致的音乐，这是一种通过无意识的曲折的配乐，将实验电子与室内现代音乐相结合。视觉艺术家Luma.Launisch用实时组合和生成的影像处理回应了这种声音，是大胆的渴望，是黑暗和罪恶的拼凑。

CHRISTOPHER JAMES CHAPLIN

英国作曲家兼实验音乐艺术家Christopher Chaplin在80年代初搬到伦敦之前，先后在瑞士沃韦（Vevey）师从艾琳德内雷兹（Irene Denereaz）学习了钢琴。

2009年，他受到维也纳电子音乐厂牌Fabrique Records的邀请，与ThomasPötz（又名Kava）合作，参与了2010年发行的概念专辑“Seven Echoes”，并首次在奥地利著名的Art Brut Museum Gugging现场演出。在那里他遇到了电子音乐先驱Hans-Joachim Roedelius（Cluster，Harmonia）。后来Roedelius邀请Christopher参加伦敦BBC Radio 3的“Late Junction”现场演出。这次合作的结果导致了另一个合作专辑“King心脏“。在接下来的几年里，Christopher Chaplin和Roedelius不断在世界各地演出；Roedelius负责钢琴和电子音乐器材的即兴演奏，Chaplin负责合成器和管弦乐器，同时一直有得到影像艺术家Luma.Launisch的视觉支持。他们演出的舞台有巴黎的Silencio，雷克雅未克的Extreme Chill Festival，巴西圣保罗的Sesc Belenzinho，巴塞罗那的Primavera Festival，巴西Tiradendes的Mimo Festival，马德拉的（MMiFF Festival）以及柏林的（Haus der Kulturen der Welt）。

2016年10月，Christopher Chaplin广受好评的首张个人专辑“Je suis leTénébreux”终于发行，该专辑部分在巴黎的传奇电子音乐组合AIR的阿特拉斯工作室以及英国的各个工作室录制。它结合了16世纪文本的实验性音乐影响，被称为“博洛尼亚之谜”的墓志铭。这张专辑在一年之后被制作成多种混音版本，其中包括由格莱美提名的美国作曲家蒂姆·史蒂夫（Tim Story）等制片人令人惊叹的重新录制，还有最近很被叫好的柏林音响和媒体艺术家Jana Irmert，布鲁克林的艺术家和制作人<tfo >和维也纳电子音乐制作人Peter Zirbs等。

CHRISTOPHER JAMES CHAPLIN

British composer and experimental music artist Christopher James Chaplin studied the piano with Irene Denereaz in Vevey (Switzerland) before moving to London in the early 80ies.

In 2009 he was invited by Viennese electronic music label Fabrique Records to collaborate with Thomas Pötz aka Kava on “Seven Echoes”, a concept album released in 2010 and presented live at the well-known Art Brut Museum Gugging in Austria for the first time. There he also met electronic music pioneer Hans-Joachim Roedelius (Cluster, Harmonia) who later invited Christopher to take part in a “Late Junction“ live session for Londons BBC Radio 3. The result of this second collaboration led to another collaboration album “King of Hearts”.

In the following years Chaplin and Roedelius performed around the world; these were largely improvised performances with Roedelius on piano and electronics, and Chaplin on synthesizers and orchestral samples. Amongst others they captivated audiences in Paris (Silencio), Rejkjavik (Extreme Chill Festival), Sao Paulo (Sesc Belenzinho), Barcelona (Primavera Festival), Tiradendes (Mimo Festival), Madeira (MMiFF Festival) or Berlin (Haus der Kulturen der Welt). Often supported by Luma.Launisch live video projections.

October 2016 finally saw the release of Christopher Chaplin's highly acclaimed first solo album “Je suis le Ténébreux”, which had been partly recorded at AIR's legendary Atlas Studio in Paris and various studios in the UK. It combines experimental musical influences around a sixteenth century text, an epitaph known as the 'Enigma of Bologna'. The album has been followed by a versatile remix EP the year after, including stunning reworks by producers such as Grammy-nominated American composer Tim Story, the recently praised Berlin-based sound and media artist Jana Irmert, Brooklyn-based artist and producer <tfo>, and Viennese electronic music producer Peter Zirbs.

After being back to his studio for several months Christopher Chaplin now returns with a new epic solo album„Paradise Lost“in early Summer 2018, featuring the amazing American vocalist and poetLeslie Winerand British tenorNathan Vale. Apowerful soundtrack of winding paths through the un/conscious.Chaplin again combines experimental electronic with chamber and contemporary music approaches.

LUMA.LAUNISCH

Luma.Launisch，是Astrid Steiner和Florian Launisch一同在维也纳创立的视觉艺术双人组合。

The visual art duo Luma.Launisch, alias Astrid Steiner and Florian Launisch, create their surreal worlds on screens from concert halls to museum walls. The basis of their videos are captured film sequences that get disassembled and newly-arranged in the process of the live-performance. Their shows are a visual journey where abstract and real imagery are set into juxtaposition. 
The combination of real and abstract awakens associations. 
A world of analogies and symbolism plays with the imagination of the beholder

Luma Launisch have collaborated with a diverse range of musicians including Andreya Triana, Cluster, the Zawinul Syndicate, Kristjan Järvi’s Absolute Ensemble, Manu Delago, Electric Indigo, Chanda Rule and many more. 
Their live show “INNENWELTKOSMOS” won the ZIT Content Award for best Visuals in Vienna in 2011. 
In 2012 Luma.Launisch played the opening show of the Austrian Ars Electronica Festival Linz and they performed their piece NIRDOS at the Long Night of Churches at St. Stephen’s cathedral. 

With the showcase sound:frame Vienna Visuals they presented their hometown in Moscow, Toronto, Rio and Sao Paolo. Their commisioned live project “SEE AURAL WOODS” with Takamovsky was presented in the MAK Museum of Applied Arts in Vienna in 2015. Video Art Works for Opera Stages, more international live shows with various artists, music videos, residencies and creative research keeps the artists busy.

In addition to their live performances the duo has gained the attention of the international art scene, including invitations to present video installations at the Benaki Museum Athens, the Photobiennale Thessaloniki, the exhibition Sound:Frame at Vienna’s Künstlerhaus and MAK, Media Art Lab Moscow, the Austrian Cultural Forum in New York and the CNN screen in Times Square. 

Their collaboration with Christopher Chaplin started in 2016. 
Over the years they developed an intense, drop-dead beautiful audiovisual live experience for the audience.

With the visual art for Paradise Lost Luma.Launisch reflect desire, darkness and sin in the face of modern society. Paradise also can be fake and destructive.
We focus on seeing the light! From darkness to light!
