Trap Music是90年代早期在美国南部形成的一种嘻哈音乐，特点在沉重的808鼓，2倍、3倍加速或连续奏出的hi-hats（踩镲），以及用铜管乐器、木管乐器、键盘乐器创造出如电影插曲般的弦乐，营造出一个整体阴暗、诡异、冷酷、迷幻的氛围。
