预告 | 单簧管钢琴二重奏

FUNG YAT SHAN is a Hong Kong-based clarinettist, conductor, clarinet tutor and chamber music coach. He started playing the clarinet at ten and was soon fascinated by the singing quality and immense flexibility of the instrument. FUNG started his musical pursue in the music department of The Chinese University of Hong Kong majoring in clarinet under the tutorship of Martin Choy. FUNG then graduated and further studied in Royal Northern College of Music majoring in clarinet performance under the tutorship of John Bradbury, Lynsey Marsh and Nicholas Cox.

During the years of study, FUNG auditioned into The Hallé Symphony Orchestra’s and BBC Philharmonic’s Professional Experience Scheme in year 2015 and 2016 respectively. He has performed, recorded and broadcasted with the BBC Philharmonic in 2016. In 2013, he auditioned into the first “Share the Stage” programme as principal clarinetist, playing under the baton of the late Lorin Mazael. FUNG has also performed with orchestras including RNCM Symphony Orchestra, RNCM Chamber Orchestra, RNCM New Music Orchestra, Piccadilly Symphony Orchestra, Ponte Orchestra, Pro Arte Orchestra of Hong Kong and Chung Chi Orchestra as principal clarinettist. Recently, he has performed in Hong Kong Arts Festival 2017, New Vision Arts Festival 2016, “HKxZurich Telematic Project 2017” and other projects with the Hong Kong New Music Ensemble. 

Commissioned by RNCM and dedicated by the composer, FUNG premièred Alexander Proudlock’s solo clarinet piece “Jack in the Box” in the Robert Saxton Festival in November 2015 (“That was an excellent excellent performance.” – Robert Saxton). He also premiered Prof. David Blake’s opera “Icarus” during summer 2016, UK Premiered Penderecki’s Symphony No.7 in 2015 and works by Hong Kong composers.

As a keen chamber musician, FUNG won the RNCM Cross-school Chamber Prize 2016 and was a finalist of the 6th International Competition ‘Giovanni Musicisti – Città di Treviso’ with his clarinet trio. He is the clarinettist and programme director of active local classical chamber group, The Timecrafters. The Timecrafters focuses on giving themed chamber concerts through light-hearted explanations and quality performances. The group holds a concert series in Fringe Club Hong Kong and has given concerts for Hong Kong Arts Festival Plus 2018, Hong Kong Arts Festival Outreach 2018, HK Art Museum Sunday Concert Series.

馮逸山是一名活躍於香港的單簧管手。馮氏10歲開始接觸單簧管，對單簧管多變又如人聲的音色十分着迷。其後就讀於香港中文大學音樂系主修單簧管，師承蔡國田老師。畢業之後於英國皇家北方音樂學院 （RNCM）進修並獲得音樂碩士學位，師承John Bradbury, Lynsey Marsh及Nichloas Cox。

馮氏非常熱愛管弦樂、室樂及新音樂單簧管演奏。曾參與香港管弦樂團Share The Stage計劃、Halle管弦樂團 Professional Experience Scheme (PES) 及 BBC 管弦樂團 PES 並參與BBC 管弦樂團之演出及錄音工作。並曾於RNCM管弦樂團，RNCM室樂團，RNCM新音樂樂團，Piccadilly 管弦樂團，Ponte Orchestra，Pro Arte Orchestra of Hong Kong及崇基管弦樂團等樂團擔任首席單簧管手。現常為香港創樂團客席演奏，曾於香港藝術節及新視野藝術節中演出。

馮氏曾首演多首作品，包括於2015年Robert Saxton Festial中首演Alexander Proudlock由RNCM委約的單簧管獨奏曲“Jack in the Box”及 2016年David Blake教授的新歌劇“Icarus”。

於室樂方面，馮氏曾於2016年贏得RNCM跨樂系室樂比賽及於2014年的第六屆“Giovanni Musicisti - Città di Treviso”國際室樂比賽中得獎。

馮氏回港後致力推動古典室樂，現為「時 ‧ 刻室樂」之策劃及單簧管手。「時 ‧ 刻室樂」以舉辦專題古典室樂聚為主，嚴選樂曲為材並以主題連繋，透過輕鬆的解說及專業演奏為聽眾提供古典室樂體驗。

Mr. Yigal Cohen has joined GTIIT having served in a wide range of administrative positions in the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, as a deputy director for Human Resources, acting auditor, head of the wages department and in charge of the SAP-ERP implementation project for the Human Resources module.

Mr. Cohen is a graduate of The Hubert Humphrey Fellowship program in Boston University where he studied public administration, communication and arts management. Mr. Cohen has a bachelor’s degree in economics and accounting from Haifa University. Mr. Cohen also studied law in Haifa University and music in Guildhall School of Music & Drama in London.

In his early career Mr. Cohen was a professional musician. He played in the Haifa Symphony Orchestra and served as the Director of the Rubin Conservatory of Music in Haifa.
